Gunman robs Des Plaines convenience store
A gunman held up a Des Plaines convenience store early Tuesday, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
No one was reported hurt in the robbery, which was reported about 4:15 a.m. at 7-Eleven, 1950 E. Touhy Ave.
The bandit walked behind the counter, confronted an employee and demanded cash, police said. After collecting the money, the thief fled.
Police believe the robber was a man in his 20s. No additional details were available.
