Round Lake Area Park District Day of the Dead 5K on Nov. 1
Get your running shoes ready for the Day of the Dead 5K on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Sports Center Park, 2004 Municipal Way, Round Lake. This USATF certified 5K race invites participants to honor Día de los Muertos by celebrating life, movement and community spirit.
The race kicks off at 9 a.m., starting and finishing outside Sports Center Park. Open to ages 10 and up, the event welcomes runners, walkers, families and friends. Each registration includes a dry-fit race shirt, bib, virtual goodie bag and an exclusive finisher medal.
Register by Sept. 30 to lock in the early bird special of $30 per person. Fees increase beginning Oct. 1, and space is limited. Secure your spot early to take advantage of the discounted rate.
The Day of the Dead 5K is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to honor and remember loved ones through movement and shared community. It’s a chance to form new friendships and create meaningful memories with the special people already in your life.
