Oktoberfest Weekend in Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village is gearing up for a weekend full of food, music and tradition as Oktoberfest and the Oktoberfest Parade take center stage Sept. 19-20.

Oktoberfest will take place from 6-10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19; and 3-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at 164 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village.

Festivalgoers can look forward to authentic German cuisine, from bratwurst and pretzels to sauerkraut, along with refreshing beer and lively entertainment. Die Musikmeisters will headline Friday and Saturday evenings, bringing traditional German music and dancing to the tent. Saturday afternoon’s FamilyFest will feature free children’s games and activities, making the event fun for all ages.

Presale tickets are available through 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at elkgrove.org/oktoberfest.

The Oktoberfest Parade steps off at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, along Elk Grove Boulevard, showcasing giant helium balloons, live marching bands, local organizations, and the impressive Percheron Horses.

This year’s Grand Marshal is the Elk Grove Cares Program, represented by:
