Batavia homecoming parade detours announced
Batavia High School’s homecoming parade will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10.
It will start at the high school, proceed east on Wilson Street, south on Lincoln Street, then west on Main Street back to the high school, 1200 W. Main St.
Those streets will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to McKee Street or Fabyan Parkway to the north, and Route 56 in North Aurora to the south. The parade lasts about an hour, and police say roads should reopen by 6:15 p.m.
