Frightening risk takers

The scene: Saturday morning, Palatine farmers market.

Despite flashing lights, clanging bells and lowered car and pedestrian gates, an adult couple disregarded the warnings and walked across the train tracks. One wonders how these future Darwin Award winners have survived this long.

How terrible it must be to be a train engineer and witness this insane behavior on a daily basis. Say a prayer for our train crews.
