Lombard’s Faith UMC to host free concert and picnic

The front lawn of Faith United Methodist Church in Lombard will be filled with the music of Pastor Dave Price and The Trustees Band and a free picnic lunch on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Senior Pastor Dave, from both First UMC Glen Ellyn and Faith UMC Lombard, continues to expand its community outreach ministry by inviting the Salt Creek Cluster of the United Methodist Church to provide a musical performance and either food, canopies, and outdoor games.

Sharing tasks in the preparation for the event encourages participating churches to work together toward a common goal of creating fellowship and ministerial opportunities among those attending. Please join us for this “connectional” event.

It will be noon to 3 p.m. at Faith UMC, 815 S. Finley Road, Lombard. Communion will be served to the large gathering around 1 p.m.

A freewill offering will be collected to support missions.
