PADS of Elgin hosts three fundraising events this fall

This fall, PADS of Elgin invites the community to come together for three fundraising events designed to raise awareness and essential funds for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Elgin area.

From craft beer and live music to fine bourbon, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while making a difference.

“These events demonstrate what’s possible when our community comes together,” said Catie Early, development and grants coordinator of PADS of Elgin. “Through celebration, we’re building something powerful — a foundation of safe shelter, meaningful support, and renewed hope for those who need it most.”

• On Thursday, Sept. 18, celebrate the season with over 20 local craft brew samplings, raffles, and a lively Oktoberfest atmosphere. “Hops for Homes — Oktoberfest” will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Plank Road Tap Room in Elgin. Individual tickets are $50, and designated driver tickets are $30. Sponsorships range from $250 to $1,500.
