Dogs blow out Lake Country
Behind four home runs and 18 hits, the Chicago Dogs blew out the Lake Country Dockhounds 16-5 on Sunday.
Brantley Bell hit two home runs while Howard Rodriguez and T.J. Hopkins also homered. Chicago burst open the game with five runs in the third inning.
Dogs pitcher Steven Lacey struck out four in his 5 1/3 innings of work, allowing four earned runs. Anthony Ranaudo pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless ball. He was followed by J.C. Keys and Jacob DeLabio, who both walked and struck out a hitter in a scoreless inning of work.
