Mundelein village administrator up for pay raise Monday

Mundelein Village Administrator Eric Guenther is in line for a roughly 3.7% pay raise as part of a contract extension.

The village board on Monday is scheduled to approve a new employment agreement with Guenther that’ll see his base annual salary increase to $253,666, up from $244,521, documents indicate.

If approved, the raise will be effective Monday.

Guenther started with the Mundelein Police Department in 1995 and advanced through the ranks, becoming chief in 2013. He was named village administrator in 2020.

Monday’s meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle. It’ll also be livestreamed at mundelein.org.
