Applicants wanted for open seat on Fremont Public Library board

Fremont Public Library District officials are accepting applications for an open seat on the Mundelein-based board.

Kelsey Cole-Burns has resigned for personal reasons, she announced on Facebook. She was elected in 2023 to a 4-year term.

The board will appoint a district resident to finish Cole-Burns’ term, which expires in spring 2027.

To be eligible, applicants must be registered voters who have lived in the district for at least one year.
