Forum for St. Charles candidates set for March 9

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County will host a forum for the candidates in the contested races in St. Charles. The forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the Pottawatomie Community Center, 8 North Ave., St. Charles.

The contested races include: library board, park district board, aldermen (two wards), and school district.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, issue oriented organization which never endorses candidates. As a part of the Voter Education mission, the league sponsors forums prior to every election so that candidates seeking to serve the citizens of our communities may present their views directly to voters in an open, unbiased setting.
