Delays begin Thursday on Route 120 bridge over Des Plaines River

Maintenance on the Route 120 (Belvidere Road) bridge over the Des Plaines River east of Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) in Gurnee and Warren Township will require intermittent daytime lane closures beginning Thursday, weather permitting.

Work is expected to be completed in October, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Expect delays and allow extra time for trips through the area.
