Disrupters at pool should have been arrested

Your July 16 editorial about the incident at Sunset Pool in Glen Ellyn is all wrong. They were not unsupervised teens creating a disturbance. They were inner city hoodlums who created chaos and have no respect for the safety of others, the law and common decency.

They should have been arrested and put in jail until their parents come and bail them out.

All this is similar to the teen takeovers that happen in Chicago that the clueless mayor will not place a curfew on.

So the next thing your paper will suggest is that there should be an armed guard at every public pool.

The clear visible rules you suggest should state if you break the law you're going to jail and will be fined.
