Petition packets for Kane 2026 election available

Petition packets for established party candidates running for Kane County offices at the March 17, 2026, general primary election are available online at the Kane County Clerk’s website, clerk.kanecountyil.gov, and at the clerk’s offices at 719 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31) in Geneva and 5 E. Downer Place, Aurora.

Offices up for election are clerk, sheriff, treasurer, regional superintendent of schools, precinct committeemen, and county board districts 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 23.

The first day to circulate petitions is Aug. 5.
