Prospect Heights man killed in Wisconsin crash last week

A 69-year-old Prospect Heights man has been identified by Wisconsin authorities as the person killed in a one-vehicle crash in Kenosha County last week.

The sheriff’s office said John B. Douglas was driving a pickup east on Highway 50 near Salem, Wisconsin just before 7 p.m. Friday when the vehicle left the road, struck a rock and careened into a tree before coming to rest.

Douglas was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
