Man charged with murder in Aurora
A man has been accused of shooting a man to death in Aurora Saturday afternoon.
Nathanael Carire-Arocho, 44, of Aurora, shot 21-year-old Tirom Kirksey Jr. around 5:56 p.m. at an apartment in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue, according to a news release from Aurora police.
The two were acquaintances, police said. No other details, including motive, were given in the release.
Carire-Arocho is charged with first-degree murder, armed violence and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
