Applications available for Mundelein pageant

Applications for the 2023 Miss, Junior Miss, and Little Miss Mundelein Pageant are now available at the Customer Service Office inside the Mundelein Village Hall, 300 Plaza Circle, Mundelein, or online at www.mundelein.org/mcd.

The application deadline is 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 6.

Once again, this year's pageant will be one of the many festivities planned by the Mundelein Community Days Commission to celebrate Independence Day.

The pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at the Mundelein High School auditorium. Young ladies who are residents of Mundelein or unincorporated Fremont Township (ZIP code 60060) are eligible to participate. Miss Mundelein contestants must be between ages 16-21; Junior Miss Mundelein between ages 11-15; and Little Miss Mundelein between ages 6-10.

A $1,000 college scholarship for Miss Mundelein, $350 cash prize for Junior Miss Mundelein and $250 cash prize for Little Miss Mundelein will be awarded. First and second runners-up will be selected in each pageant and will also receive cash prizes.

Queens will each receive a crown, sash, trophies, and other gifts.
