No injuries during Naperville apartment fire Thursday

Nobody was hurt Thursday during an apartment fire on the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Naperville.

Firefighters responded just after 11:30 a.m. to find smoke coming from the front of a three-story building. Crews extinguished the fire within 15 minutes of their arrival.

Damages are estimated at $30,000. The unit where the fire occurred remains habitable. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
