Equestrian competition in Wayne jumps into the weekend

Horses and riders from across the nation have gathered in Wayne for a multiday equestrian competition.

The Lamplight Spring Spectacular III kicked off on Wednesday, June 18, and runs through Sunday, June 22, at the Lamplight Equestrian Center, 6N940 Dunham Road in Wayne. The competition is part of the HITS Chicago Show Series. Riders will compete in a variety of events during the five days.

The competition is free for spectators.

Since its inception in 1982, HITS, LLC has grown into a market-leading lifestyle management company producing hunter, jumper, and dressage horse shows.
