Choice at the end of life

When Jesus Christ walked this earth, we did not have a medicine man that could keep the body alive even when you are brain-dead. Today, we have the ability to extend suffering and create purgatory on Earth for those terminally ill and in great pain. There is an economic factor that is not spoken about in regard to this discussion of “who does my body belong to?”

Over $1 trillion is spent in the last six months of the life of Americans who are in the process of dying each year. The cost of health care would decline if my right to die is approved.

If the dying are not experiencing severe pain, the alternative of hospice is a wonderful choice. We have compassionate men and women who help guide the hospice process. “My Body, My Choice” rings true in regard to end-of-life issues, more so than when another human being is terminated.
