Libertyville Days returns June 12-15

Enjoy rides, music, food and more when the Libertyville Days Festival returns Thursday through Sunday, June 12-15, with most events taking place in Cook Park, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. The festival, with the theme “Aloha Summer '25,” raises funds for the Libertyville Civic Center.

The event features a carnival, which takes place along Church and Cook streets, in the Church Street Municipal Parking Lot and in Sunrise Rotary Park. The carnival will run from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Noon to 2 p.m. Friday will be “Flower Hours,” a sensory-friendly time when lights and sounds will be reduced.

Unlimited ride specials will be available for $35 from 5-10 p.m. Thursday and noon to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and for $32 from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Mainstage entertainment will include Bonzo Squad and Sneezy on Thursday; Soul Kitchen and Modern Day Romeos on Friday; Karl Kirkpatrick, Jimmy Nick, Marlon and The Shakes and Pino Farina Band on Saturday; and School of Rock Libertyville and Mellencougar on Sunday.

An arts and crafts fair with local artists, crafters and nonprofit organizations will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in Libertyville's Cook Park

Church Street Eats will offer food and beverages for purchase from local eateries from 5-11 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday on West Church Street, between Brainerd and Milwaukee avenues.

The annual parade will step off at 10 a.m. Saturday, starting at the Metra Train Station and heading south on Milwaukee Avenue to Highland Middle School at Garfield Avenue and Rockland Road.

Other activities taking place in Cook Park include the Miss Libertyville Pageant at 6:30 p.m. Thursday; a children's party for ages 8 and younger from 10 a.m. to noon Friday; a Fireman's Rib Cook Off Contest from 1-3 p.m. Saturday; and a bags tournament from 1-6 p.m. Sunday.
