Excessive use of force is not confined to urban America. The death of George Floyd requires every municipality to examine its use of force procedures to ensure chokeholds are not taught or permitted by law enforcement. Each municipal city council should request a review and post to the public its updated policies. Transparency provides the foundation of trust and support from the public.
