Conflicting scenes of protest

We took part in the peaceful protest on a recent Sunday denouncing all the polices that have put in place by our current administration and all of the defunding of very important jobs, resources and much-needed stability for our democracy. Everyone taking part in the event professional, calm and waving at those who honked as they drove by.

Midway through the event, in came the parade from the other side. Big trucks with multiple flags, blaring music, horns and plenty of language that would possibly make Lenny Bruce blush. Lot’s of one finger salutes and even stopping in the right lane of Ogden Avenue to block traffic and continue with their boisterous behavior. Probably the reason local police were so plentiful and carefully making sure all things were moving along peacefully.
