Arlington Heights hosts public hearing on strategic plan

Arlington Heights will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. June 2, to discuss the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, including the 2025 Annual Action Plan.

Every five years the village assesses its affordable housing and community development needs, and creates a strategic plan to meet those needs, particularly with respect to its low- and moderate-income residents.

The 2025 Annual Action Plan identifies actions and activities to be taken during the 2025 program year (Oct. 1, 2025 — Sept. 30, 2026), including how the village will use its Community Development Block Grant funds.

The public hearing will take place before the regular village board meeting at village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road. A public comment period will follow from June 6 to July 7.
