Congress must defend Constitution
It’s nice to read letters from citizens regarding corruption by our elected office holders. It’s a sad day when our president uses executive orders, not legislation, to attack the judicial and legislative branches of government, our universities, our private law firms and businesses. The list goes on and on.
He ignores the Constitution, the Fifth Amendment. The corruption goes on and on. The pay to play, the shakedowns, This guy is a walking crime syndicate.
Perhaps we should incarcerate Darrin LaHood for not fulfilling his solemn oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. Perhaps we should incarcerate all the Republicans in Congress for not standing up to autocracy and corruption in the White House.
When the men and women in Congress that represent Kane County and all the counties in the U.S. start to stand up and actually defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. That will be a good day.
