Stand up for rule of law

The rule of law and due process are bedrock principles in the founding of our country as it came together in opposition to a king and his arbitrary rulings. This is the best way to achieve justice and should apply to all government prosecutions, including against immigrants who are our first line of protection that the rule of law applies to everyone.

The Trump administration rounded up immigrants and without a legal hearing transported them to a notorious Salvadoran prison. The administration refused to work to return one despite a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling to do so.

What could stop the Trump administration from accusing anyone of supporting terrorism, scooping them up and sending them to a foreign prison?

Everyone who believes in the rule of law should stand up now against a president who ignores the law, due process and the Supreme Court before his lawlessness expands.
