Lake Zurich hosts ‘Cone with a Cop’ May 6

Lake Zurich community members can meet with village police officers over ice cream during a “Cone with a Cop” event from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6.

The informal gathering will take place at McDonald’s, 123 Quentin Road in Lake Zurich.

Those who attend can ask questions, check out a squad car and learn more about the police department.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns or simply get to know our officers,” Police Chief Steve Husak said in an event announcement. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”
