A lost opportunity
Recently, my school went to Washington, D.C., for a school trip and I noticed how before the trip, the list of things we were going to do included visiting the Black Lives Matter Plaza. However, it was off the list when we got there. This is terrible. Just because people do not want to understand the message of the Black Lives Matter protests, they shouldn’t have to threaten loss of funding to Washington, D.C., so they would remove it. Plus, it is just on the road. This is not what should be happening to the plaza.
