Center of Concern’s Intergenerational Coffee & Conversations Event to Bring Together Local Seniors and Teens

The Center of Concern invites local seniors and teens to connect at Intergenerational Coffee & Conversations, a quarterly free event designed to build connections across generations.

Participants will share stories, experiences, and perspectives in a welcoming setting. Light refreshments will be served. Teens can earn volunteer service hours by attending this event.

The next gathering takes place from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, at the Des Plaines Public Library, Meeting Room C, 1501 Ellinwood St., Des Plaines.

The Center of Concern’s mission is to provide housing assistance, support services, and counseling for older adults, people with disabilities and others in need, enabling them to live with dignity and independence. The Center of Concern’s website is centerofconcern.org.
