Fine Line to host Stone-a-Palooza April 5

Stop by the annual Stone-a-Palooza, a one-day sale of jewelry supplies on Saturday, April 5, at the Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles.

This event features a select group of jewelry artists who have spent years collecting one-of-a-kind supplies from across the country. Since they don’t have time to use everything, they will be offering some of their curated items for sale.

Items include pieces of mammoth ivory, meteorite, amber and antler, as well as various cabochons and beads for creating jewelry.

Findings also will be available for finishing your jewelry, plus a wide selection of rough rocks, including tiger’s eye, jasper, jade, rhodonite and more.

Whether you are a beginner jewelry maker, or have been making jewelry for years, or just like to look at colorful stones, you will find just what you need at this event.

All items will be competitively priced. Stop by and explore — admission is free and you never know what treasures you might discover!

Stone-a-Palooza will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the Painting Studio at the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, 37W570 Bolcum Road, just west of Randall Road in St. Charles.

While you’re there, stop by the Kavanagh Gallery for the current exhibit “Does It Fit?: The 16" x 16" Show,” which features art from across the country. All of the pieces measure no more than 16 inches x 16 inches or 16 inches x 16 inches x 16 inches in the case of 3-D art. It’s an opportunity to find affordable art for your home or office space. The exhibit continues to April 24. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
