Learn from history

Our political leaders would do well to learn from the past. What goes around comes around. Guarantees of peace made by countries are tenuous at best.

Consider the ultimate consequences of the Munich Agreement of 1938 (UK, France, and Germany for peace in Czechoslovakia) and the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939 (Soviet Union and Germany for peace between themselves). The guarantees of peace were duplicitous illusions.

Today our leaders should learn from that past.
