Kids art sought for Geneva calendar
Geneva’s Student Government Committee is having an art contest for elementary school students to highlight the importance of trees.
Winning artists will be displayed in a calendar. Children in first through fifth grades are eligible. Entries should be made on an 8.5-by-11-inch piece of paper, with landscape orientation preferred.
Submit entries by May 22 at City Hall, 22 S. First St., or online through the city’s website, geneva.il.us, on the Parkway Tree Calendar Student Art Contest web page.
