Best for city at crossroads

Elmhurst is at a crossroads. Under Mayor Scott Levin’s leadership, our city is shifting away from the suburban character that families love, embracing high-density development, increased fees and costly projects that burden taxpayers.

Levin is backing a $50 million police station and a $47 million train station, even as Metra ridership remains low. Meanwhile, water and sewer rates keep rising and committee meetings where key decisions are made remain unrecorded. Elmhurst residents deserve transparency and accountability — not closed-door government.

That’s why I’m supporting Mark Mulliner for mayor.

Mulliner is committed to: lowering costs — no reckless spending without voter input; protecting Elmhurst’s suburban character — No forced “15-minute city” urban planning; full transparency — public meetings should be recorded and accessible.

Elmhurst doesn’t need higher taxes, bigger government or costly overdevelopment. We need common sense leadership that puts residents first.

On April 1, vote for Mark Mulliner — a mayor who will fight for us, not special interests.
