Motorcycle driver killed in Grayslake crash identified

A motorcyclist who died after a crash Friday evening in Grayslake has been identified as Adolfo Rosario, 62, of Maywood.

The crash occurred about 5:20 p.m. to the area of Route 83 and Route 137, authorities said. According to the Lake County Coroner's Office, witnesses said the Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle was traveling at high speed and failed to navigate a curve, causing the crash.

Rosario was the driver and sole rider. He died in the operating room at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville of blunt force injuries suffered in the crash, according to the coroner's office.

Grayslake police and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating, officials said.
