Childish decision

It saddens me that supposedly grown adults can act so much like small children. Regarding the vote by the DuPage County Board to remove the name of Henry Hyde from the County Courts building, for instance. But I guess since the Democrats lost the presidency and both Houses of Congress, they must feel that they have to strike back in any way they can, even it means to act like petulant children.

Henry Hyde was one of the best congressmen I have seen from the state of Illinois. He has done so much good for the people of DuPage County and the state of Illinois it is difficult to list all of the good thing he did. I think it is an absolute disgrace that a group of whiny, petulant Democrats can erase from history this honor for Congressman Hyde. I just hope that the good people of DuPage County remember who the 15 Democrats are when it comes to election time and vote them all off the board.

I do offer my respect for board members Lucy Chang Evans and Lynn LaPlante for abstaining from this vote at least knowing that there are more important things for the board to consider besides acting like spoiled children.
