It’s travesty to fight cost-saving efforts
I find it to be a sad travesty that the majority of media outlets, so many citizens along with the many entrenched politicians continue to fight tooth and nail against the consultants (DOGE) working to assist the United States of America’s attempt to not so simply balance the checkbook.
The vast majority of us must do so with our home budget. Right?
Unfortunate is the fact that so many of us are willing to turn the other cheek, often by holding back or twisting reporting of all the available information, following rank-and-file leaders justifying waste with false or exaggerated narrative, or simply refusing to believe the facts. Frequently picking a single topic to hitch our wagon most often times one pulling at heart strings to appear humanitarian. Why folks, why?
My assumption is that in media “conflict sells.” For citizens, it’s just easier to save face by agreeing with our friends or family to avoid conflict. There is obviously a lot of coverup, corruption and mismanagement within the federal bureaucracy with the fear of a reckoning for those ultimately responsible no matter what side of the aisle.
We’re supposed to live in a democracy where we are United States, where the will of the voters charts our destiny, not a bureaucracy led by self-serving agendas.
