In an interview with the Daily Herald editorial board, four candidates for South Barrington village board — Shahzad Kazi, Malik Khan, Kanu Panchal and Daniel Zierk — share their views on local issues.
Topics discussed include the proposed solar farm on Mundhank Road, the proposed de-annexation of land purchased by Fourth Avenue Gospel, areas where commercial development should be encouraged, and more.
Five candidates are running for three, 4-year seats.
The election is April 1. Early voting begins March 17.
