Events take place in downtown Highwood, with a preview night Thursday, Oct. 5, and the festival Friday through Sunday, Oct. 6-8.

5-10 p.m. Community Appreciation Night, with pumpkin carving, live music, cash bar and more

4 p.m. Festival opens
4-6 p.m. Trick-or-Treating throughout festival grounds
5-9 p.m. Unlimited Carnival Ride Special, $25 per person
