Initiative should be applauded, not chastised

When a company, an organization or government has gone unchecked for a number of years, one of the best initiatives it can take is to put in place a cost-cutting exercise. Whether in good times or bad times, this is an exercise that will always find unnecessary expenditures. Unless a group/individual has something to hide, there should be no reason why management/employees of a company, a member of Congress or the Senate should not want an investigation of this nature to happen.

So why are the Democrats so up in arms? Do they have something to hide? Do some of them have their hands where they don’t belong? Are they getting illegal payback on ridiculous expenditures?

The Democrats are criticizing President Trump, ad nauseam, for putting Elon Musk in charge of the current cost-cutting initiative. As commander in chief, doesn’t Trump have the right to put in charge of this exercise anyone he so desires? Trump/Musk are being very transparent with what is being uncovered. All Americans should be thankful this despicable waste is being identified.

A smart leader putting a bright man in charge of a much-needed initiative should be applauded not chastised.
