Buffalo Grove Fire Department moving some services to temporary site
The Buffalo Grove Fire Department is moving some operations to a temporary facility at the former public works building, 51 Raupp Blvd., during the upcoming rebuild of Fire Station 25.
The station at 505 W. Dundee Road was constructed in 1975, and after 50 years of service is due for replacement, officials say. Demolition is scheduled for April and construction of the new facility is expected to be complete in September 2026.
Fire operations at the temporary location will begin the first week of March and is expected to have no impact on emergency response times.
All services previously offered at Station 25 will move to the Raupp Boulevard location, including blood pressure checks and the baby safe haven drop off.
