Barrington Chamber to host economic summit Feb. 12

Business leaders and community members can hear more about the future of the greater Barrington area’s economy at a Feb. 12 summit.

The State of the Greater Barrington Area Economic Summit will be held at Barrington’s White House, 145 W. Main St., Barrington. The event will run from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with registration open at 8 a.m.

The annual summit provides an opportunity to hear updates from local village leaders about economic trends, developments, and key initiatives affecting the region. Municipal representatives from Barrington, Barrington Hills, Deer Park, Inverness, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Long Grove, North Barrington, Port Barrington, South Barrington, and Tower Lakes are invited to speak.

The event is open to the public The cost is $20, which includes coffee and pastries. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
