Allegiance Color Guard hosts Marengo Community Showcase Jan. 25
Allegiance Color Guard invites the community to an evening of artistry and talent at their annual 2025 Community Showcase.
The event will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Marengo Middle School, 816 E. Grant Hwy. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support Marengo’s M.O.R.E. Food Pantry, a member of the Northern Illinois Food Bank Network.
This year’s showcase will feature performances of Allegiance’s 2025 productions, bringing the precision, emotion and excitement of the marching arts to the local stage before they head into the winter tour.
Attendees will have the chance to meet Allegiance’s members, staff and board during a post-performance meet & greet, complete with coffee and snacks. For more about this event, visit allegiancecg.org/showcase.
“We’re thrilled to share our hard work and passion with the community while also giving back,” said Teresa Duckworth, director of Allegiance Color Guard. “This event is about celebrating the arts and making a positive impact in the place we call home.”
All donations collected during the showcase will directly support M.O.R.E. Food Pantry in its mission to fight hunger in the local area. To learn more about how you can help, visit solvehungertoday.org.
