Des Plaines student art exhibit opens next week

Artwork by local elementary students will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library this month, with an opening reception at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12.

About 120 pieces of art from students in Des Plaines Elementary District 62 will be featured from April 10-22.

The third annual exhibit includes paintings, drawings, designs and collages by students in 1st through 8th grades.
