Huntley church starts new Bible series Jan. 9
A new adult education Bible series study on the Book of I Samuel with Dave Kolzow will be held at 11 a.m. Thursdays, starting Jan. 9, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley
“During this weekly study, we will explore the importance of the ark of the covenant; the rise and fall of Saul, who was the first king of Israel; and David’s emergence as a God-fearing leader and mighty warrior,” Kolzow said. “We will witness how the Lord constantly cares for His people, despite their failings.”
“The Book of I Samuel sheds much light on God’s grace and everlasting mercy, clarifying God’s covenant relationship with us in both the Old and New Testament.”
