A sincere thanks, Coach
Thousands of angry Bears fans horribly disappointed by the recent setbacks of the Bears’ last six games got their wish Friday morning. The vitriol calling for Coach Eberflus to be fired was evidently heard by the Bears brass.
Leadership does without question start at the top, a fact of life for all leaders, whether it’s in politics or sports to name a few. However, we should keep in mind we are talking about human being. The coach hurt no one, his decisions were made on a football field visible for all of us to weigh in on. By all accounts he was a decent person who cared about his players and was loyal to the franchise.
He blamed nobody for his downfall. How many of us would be able to show the class he did if our mistakes and downfalls were viewed by millions? Thanks for your loyalty and service, Coach. Best of luck in the future.
