Recently Bloomingdale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7539 completed their annual October clothing to benefit homeless veterans. When completed, there were approximately six hundred items of clothing collected. Coats, sweaters, hats, etc. We members of VFW Post 7539 would like to thank all parties involved for their help in this worthwhile project, whose assistance was essential to this project being an enormous success.

These include the Village of Bloomingdale, Library, Park District, Fire Department and the residents of Bloomingdale who were very generous with their donations and making this project a success.

The items were collected by our members and delivered to Jesse Brown VA for distribution to homeless veterans.
