Kirk Road closed for rail crossing work

Part of Kirk Road in Batavia will be closed from Friday morning through Monday afternoon for repairs to a railroad crossing. Only local traffic will be allowed through from Hubbard Avenue to Wilson Street. Other drivers heading south should take Fabyan Parkway northeast to Route 38, go east to Route 59 in West Chicago, head south to Butterfield Road in Aurora, and then take Butterfield west to Kirk. Drivers heading north should do the reverse.
