Fox Valley Nutcracker is celebrating its 10th anniversary

Kick off your holiday season with The Fox Valley Nutcracker!

The 10th anniversary celebration, presented by Fox Valley Ballet, is a professional-level production featuring more than 150 dancers from 30 dance schools across the Chicago suburbs, joined by professional dancers, including three from the Joffrey Ballet and three from Chicago Repertory Ballet.

The Fox Valley holiday tradition features beautiful dance, lavish sets, festive costumes, and Tchaikovsky’s magical score.

The beloved holiday classic will be performed at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29; 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30; and 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1250 W. Wilson St.

Tickets for adults or children, age 10 or older, are $54 or $43 for the orchestra and lower mezzanine; $43 or $32 for the upper mezzanine. The balcony will be open for the Saturday and Sunday matinee performances. Tickets are $38 or $27.

Save $2 per ticket by purchasing online. The balcony for other performances will open after 75% of main floor is sold.

Fox Valley Ballet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization with the mission to bring the joy and artistry of dance to the Fox Valley region through pre-professional ballet training and performances.

This is done by supporting the training and artistic excellence of pre-professional dancers through education, performance, and community outreach in an encouraging and inspirational environment.
