College of DuPage College Theater presents Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’

The College of DuPage College Theater will be putting on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Nov. 22-24.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, and 2 and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday in Belushi Performance Hall at the McAninch Arts Center on the college’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Amelia Barrett is the director.

Adapted for the COD Theater program in a family-friendly 70-minute show by William J. Norris, Charles Dickens’ treasured tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is brought to life by a high-spirited cast of 50 local actors and children creating the perfect family event to usher in the holiday season.

Tickets are $14. Join the director and designers for a pre-show discussion at 5:45 p.m. Friday, and the director and cast for a post-show discussion in the theater on Saturday, after the 5 p.m. performance.
