Pension chronicles are valued
I sincerely applaud Jake Griffin's consistent, clear and thorough work chronicling the demise of Illinois from public pension abuse. Can I donate to his antacid and ibuprofen fund?
It is a bitter, stinging irony to watch public ex-employees shirk the very Illinois taxes that fill the pension trough from which they eagerly feed. Why not stay here to fill the trough for the next generation of their union brothers and sisters?
Mr. Griffin's only omission from the list of low-tax havens to which the 71,000 (and counting) have fled, is the one place that I had in mind for them to go.
